Jesus is not a black hole!!!

in the world of astronomy, a black hole is something that has no presence of light. it is a region of space from which nothing, not even light, can escape. it seems to me that there is quite a fear related to the subject of anything related to complete and utter darkness...especially in area that we are unfamiliar...it seems to me that there could be somewhat the same fear related to Jesus Christ...a fear of entering in to the light of His presence...why would that be? He came into this world to bring light to us all...not darkness...He also allows the choice for any to escape, should they choose...those escapees are also welcome back should they also choose to return...but, however, this follower of Jesus has no desire to escape from His presence...

my dad...

on Thursday January 20th of this year, my dad breathed his last breath of earthly air...what is somewhat strange is, that while i will miss him, it seems like he has been gone far longer than just the two days that he has. his legacy was to always care for, protect, and if possible (always), provide for his family...and, if you were to ask me, i'd tell you that he did a damn fine job! there was not anybody that he would not stand up against if it meant protecting his family. and, that has been passed down to his sons and grandson. we as a family have now begun a new chapter in the Eddy family life. and, thankfully, we all have a wonderful example with which to follow. while many people might say "What would Jesus do?"...my family and i could also say in like fashion, "What would dad do...?

Politics...

politics to me is almost the same as grabbing at air...just when you think that you might be just about ready to grab the jist of the issue...the understanding vanishes...and, after all, aren't many of those who occupy state, or national congress, no more than spewers of air...just sayin'...
